BALLERZ : Jersey Watch (Top 10)
Do you remember the first jersey you ever owned … the one that you might have begged mom or dad for in the Eastbay catalogue? We all have been there.
Sports jerseys have a way of connecting us to our favorite players and teams like no other piece of clothing. In the metaverse, NFT’s have a similar appeal in connecting us to an identity.
Here’s a look at the Top 10 jerseys of BALLERZ from the men’s and women’s teams. Of the 30 male and 12 female squads, we took our favorite home and away to create a top 10 with the best 🏀
Women’s Top 10
10. San Francisco Surge Home | I’m getting Phoenix Suns vibes. The gradient is nice towards the bottom of the jersey and the darker shade of orange is a nice switch-up.
9. San Jose Sirens Home | Unique color scheme for the Sirens. The jersey really goes well with pink hair traits.
8. Orlando Freeze Home | These jerseys kind of remind me of Minnesota Lynx. Somebody get Maya Moore on the phone!
7. Tampa Bay Omens Home | The teal and orange color pop on the collar is the perfect touch.
6. Los Angeles Knives Home | Color scheme is solid and has some very cool looks for rare traits.
5. Minneapolis Express Home | The OG home of the Lakers was Minneapolis, Minnesota “Land of 10,000 Lakes.” The Express jersey is very clean. Purple and gold fans should feel right at home (I see you Sparx!).
4. Nashville Miracle Home | Orange is such an underrated color. The yellow lettering also stands out.
2/3. Team Dapper Home & Team Flow Home | Both special teams came with the heat! The Men’s team shares the same jersey and did a good job of displaying the companies logo color scheme.
- Cleveland Firebirds Home | Reminiscent of the University of Oregon Ducks color scheme or even better, the Seattle Storm. These jerseys fit nicely with gold chainz and earring traits.
Men’s Top 10
10. St. Louis Orcs Home | Sac-Town probably think these look familiar. I like the siding on these type of jerseys.
9. Boston Rulers Home | Simple color block jerseys are so clean. The Rulers red is one of the best.
8. Alaska Whales Away | Iowa Hawkeyes come to mind with the Whales jerseys. Yellow and black is a classic combo in sports (Pittsburgh fans, anyone?).
7. New York Golden Bulls Home | One of the best gradient jerseys in the collection.
6. Seattle Scream Home | Not my favorite green jersey, the Lady Ballerz of Cleveland have my heart there … but Seattle is close behind with a nice combo of neon and forest green.
5. San Diego Keepers Home | I’m not sure how to describe this pattern, but I like it. The Phoenix Skulls almost took this spot for their black jerseys.
4. Toronto Spears Away | A fan favorite, but just missed out on the top 3 because their Home/Away are damn near identical. Warriors? Brewers? Doesn’t matter. The gold and blue usually does the trick.
3. Omaha Bullsnakes Home/Away | Miami Vice was a great show and even though Omaha is 1,645 miles away … don’t these feel like Ocean Drive? Definitely reminds me of the Miami Heat version.
2. Chicago Squid Home/Away | OKC fans have to love this colorway! Especially the away jerseys which look like City Edition. Blue/Orange combo is a great one.
1. Dallas Pythons Home/Away | Surprised? The Dallas jerseys are vibrant. Gives me a little Charlotte Hornets vibe, but nonetheless a very dope kit.
